Design and Construction
As Cost Manager, Wendy Castro-Farrell is responsible for supervising cost management activities for all RGDC projects under development and in construction. This includes initial project set-up, project procurement, oversight of monthly reporting, change management, and project close-out.
She provides administration and development of RGDC’s proprietary Skire/Unifier cost management system. She tracks historical design and construction costs across the United States and provides quarterly cost escalation forecasts, aiding in the preparation of accurate proforma budgets. She also reports and manages project budgets, costs, and cash flow on a regional and companywide basis.
Ms. Castro-Farrell has extensive experience in cost control processes and management of large development projects. Before joining RGDC in 2012, she was a Senior Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle, working as a consultant in the company’s Goldman Sachs Real Estate Division, where she managed the cost control program of Goldman Sach’s $35 million data center. From 2005 to 2009, Ms. Castro-Farrell was a Senior Cost Manager for Tishman Speyer Properties, overseeing the $1 billion cost control program for the new 2.1-million-square-foot Goldman Sachs downtown headquarters.
Before 2005, she was employed by Turner Construction as a Project Manager and Cost Manager. Some of her most notable projects:

Ms. Castro-Farrell holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Drexel University and an MS in Real Estate Development from Columbia University.
