Michael Sajjadi is Director of Design & Construction, Western Region, for Rockefeller Group Development Corporation. Mr. Sajjadi is in charge of design and construction activities within the region, including site and building acquisition due diligence, conceptual estimating and scheduling, design management, project approvals, and construction oversight of all projects.
Mr. Sajjadi is currently leading RGDC’s efforts in constructing a 1.5 million-square-foot distribution center for General Mills in Fort Wayne, IN.
RGDC projects recently completed include a 610,000-square-foot distribution center in Tejon Ranch, CA; an 85,000-square-foot Veterans Administration Medical Office Building in Oceanside, CA; and 240,000 square feet of office space in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Other projects completed include an 115,000-square-foot distribution center in Tucson, AZ, which received Gold LEED certification, as well as a 72,000-square-foot office building in Phoenix, AZ, that received Silver LEED certification, both firsts within their respective markets.
Before joining RGDC, Mr. Sajjadi was Vice President of Construction for Overton Moore Properties, a real estate developer in southern California. While at Overton Moore, Michael was responsible for predevelopment, due diligence, entitlements, design, base building construction, and tenant interiors for multiple industrial and commercial office projects totaling over 10 million square feet.
Mr. Sajjadi has also held various construction management positions with Legacy Partners of Irvine, CA; Martin Potts & Associates of Newport Beach, CA; and several other general contractors in the southern California market.
Mr. Sajjadi has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah. He is a LEED Accredited Professional.
