Brian Sullivan is Property Manager of the Time-Life Building, 1271 Avenue of the Americas, where he manages the building staff and contract personnel. Prior to assuming this position in 2007, Mr. Sullivan was Manager of Engineering Services at 1251 Avenue of the Americas.
Mr. Sullivan started at Rockefeller Center Management Corporation as a Local 94 Engineer Helper in 1984. He became a Licensed Engineer and was promoted to Assistant Chief Engineer in 1987. In 1991 Mr. Sullivan was again promoted, to Manager of Engineering Services of the South Block Properties.
In 1996 Mr. Sullivan left The Rockefeller Group to join the New York Athletic Club as Director of Engineering and Construction. In this position, he was responsible for all operations and construction-related functions for the Athletic Club, and he oversaw the renovation of approximately a quarter-million square feet of commercial space. Mr. Sullivan returned to The Rockefeller Group in January 2000 as the Manager of Engineering Services. In this position, he was responsible for the energy savings and overall management of daily operations at the 2.3-million-square-foot building. He also worked with tenants of the building on operations and construction issues. In less than six years, Mr. Sullivan was successful in converting the engineering staff to all licensed operating engineers.
Mr. Sullivan is a graduate of Felician College in Rutherford, NJ, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Marketing.
